Hello guys n gals, hope you all are fine.In my last post, I explained you about the God of the Cyber world.
At this point, I hope that you guys knows the clear difference b/w Hacker & Cracker.
For those, who didn’t understand that, just have a quick review : Hackers build things and Crackers break them. Hackers are good people & Crackers are the bad ones.
If you wud ever have a fight with someone who is a cracker, its your bad luck then. Ok Ok!!! Don’t be too afraid of this bad guy. He is not gonna harm you without any reason.
Ok…now!!! Lets come to our today’s post. As the title speaks “I just love to wear white hat..what about u?”, it has to do something with the ‘hat’.
Let me tell you in clear language that there are 3 types of hackers residing in the cyber world performing the different operations.
3 types of hackers:
è ~White hat hacker
è ~Gray hat hacker
è ~Black hat hacker
The only way to understand their meanings is to submerge ourselves in the world of hackers.
White hat hacker:
-A good guy
-A ethical (legal) hacker
-A computer security expert
-uses his/her skills without any criminal intention
-companies hire them to test their own systems
Black hat hacker:
-A bad guy
-real destructor
-uses computer skills in criminal activity
-u can call him Cracker too
-beware of him/her
Gray hat hacker:
-A skilled hacker
-guy who is in b/w white hat & black hat category
-use his/her skills for legal or illegal acts, but not for personal gains (like black hat)
So, now you know
-“who the hackers are?”
-“how many types of hackers are there?”
-“what type of hacker someone is?”
I hope in future some of you will be wearing a special hat (white,black or gray) @hacker.
But it is not so easy just as you think. Also it is not tough too.
